Watch to Earn Rewards Terms

The Moj Watch-to-Earn Rewards Terms ("Rewards Terms") govern your use of the promotional Moj Watch-to-Earn Rewards program ("Watch-to-Earn", "W2E", "Program") made available on the Moj mobile application (the "Platform") by Mohalla Tech Pvt. Ltd. ("Moj", "Company", "we", "us" and "our"). By participating in the Program, you agree to be bound by the Rewards Terms.

Moj Points System#

Moj Watch-to-Earn Rewards is an in-app promotional Program offered on the Platform. Eligible users may accumulate points on Moj ("Points") by completing certain daily activities on the Platform, including but not limited to daily check-ins, daily watch-time milestones, watching advertisements, and other similar activities. Users may accumulate Points through the aforementioned activities on the Platform and redeem rewards made available under the Program, including ad-free viewing time, access to premium content, unlocking of additional episodic content and other rewards made available under the Program from time to time, in accordance with these Rewards Terms.

Moj Points and Rewards Terms#

  1. Participation in the Program is offered at the sole discretion of the Company and only to eligible users, as determined by us from time to time. The Program may not be enabled for all users. Eligibility may be based on factors including, without limitation, the user's acquisition/attribution source, subscription status, and Platform activity. We may enable, withhold, limit, or withdraw access to the Program for any user or class of users at any time.

  2. If a user already has an active trial or a paid subscription to the Moj Plus feature, the Program will not be available for that user for so long as the subscription or trial remains active, as the rewards offered under the Program are already available to Moj Plus subscription users. The Program is a promotional reward made available primarily to users who do not otherwise hold an active trial or a subscription. Any Points already accumulated by you will remain available for redemption for a period of one year, if and when your active subscription or trial ends or is cancelled and you become eligible for the Program. This is subject to the eligibility requirements as stated under these Rewards Terms.

  3. Eligible users may earn Moj Points through daily tasks made available on the Platform, which may include (a) a daily check-in on the Watch to Earn page (this may be streak-based, whereby the rewards may increase with consecutive daily check-ins and resets if a day is missed); (b) daily watch-time milestones (whereby Points may be accumulated upon reaching cumulative watch-time thresholds within a day subject to daily limits on accumulating Points), and (c) watching optional advertisements (this is subject to advertisement availability and a daily limit on the number of advertisements). The number of Moj Points awarded for any activity, and the maximum number of Moj Points a user may accumulate on the Platform in a day may vary at the Company's discretion. These limits will be as displayed on the Platform while accessing this Program from time to time.

  4. Except where expressly stated that the Points will be provided to the user automatically, users can accumulate and redeem Moj Points only when the user actively claims the Points available under the Program on the Platform. Completing a task does not by itself credit Points under this Program, and you must claim the Points for the task on the same day on which the task is completed. The unclaimed Points under the Program may lapse, and will not be carried forward or reinstated. Points for watching advertisements may be credited automatically once the advertisement has played in full and is dismissed. No Points can be accumulated where an advertisement is not shown, is not completed, or is unavailable. The daily tasks, applicable rewards, benefits, thresholds, and limits for this Program may vary from time to time.

  5. The daily tasks operate on a fixed midnight-to-midnight cycle determined by the user's local time zone, and reset at the start of each such daily cycle. Progress towards a daily task does not carry over to subsequent days. Each daily task resets at the end of the day. Any Points under the Program that have been reached but not claimed before the reset, including any unclaimed watch-time milestone or unclaimed daily check-in will lapse and be forfeited, and will not carry over into the next cycle. Points that have already been successfully claimed and accumulated are not affected by the daily reset subject to validity, redemption and expiry of the Points.

  6. Unclaimed Points are tied to your device. Points that have been reached but not yet claimed are held only in your current logged in account and are not part of your credited Points balance until claimed. Such unclaimed rewards may be lost and cannot be recovered if, before you claim them, you log out of the Platform, clear the app's data or cache, uninstall and reinstall the app, or log in to your account on another device. To avoid losing them, you should claim rewards before taking any such action. Only Points that have been successfully claimed and credited to your balance are retained against your account.

  7. Users may redeem their accumulated Moj Points for rewards made available under the Program from time to time, subject to users having sufficient Moj Points balance. The applicable Points for the corresponding rewards are debited upon redemption. The rewards available for redemption and the corresponding Moj Points required to avail such rewards will be as displayed on the Platform under this Program. The rewards, their availability, the corresponding Moj Points required for redemption, value and duration of such rewards, are subject to change as determined by the Company and may vary or be discontinued at any time. Only one active reward may be allowed for a user at a time even if a user holds sufficient Points balance to claim more than one reward under the Program. Once a reward is claimed, you cannot claim another reward until the current reward has ended, that is, it should either be fully consumed or its validity period should have expired, whichever occurs first. Unless stated otherwise for a particular reward, the benefit under a reward (for example, the specific duration for ad-free or content viewing) refers to actual in-app consumption and is metered only while you are actively consuming the Reward on the video player; it is not a wall-clock timer. In addition, each reward carries a limited validity period from the time of claim. The reward ends based on whichever occurs first, i.e. upon full consumption of the reward, or once the validity period of the reward has expired. After such consumption or expiry, any unconsumed portion of the reward is forfeited and confers no further entitlement, refund, or Points reversal.

    While a reward is active, watch-time tasks will be paused (i.e. the daily watch-time milestones task may not accrue Points for that period). Other earning tasks may continue as configured. Points spent on a reward are non-refundable and are not restored if the reward is not fully consumed. Rewards are for personal, non-commercial use on the Platform only.

  8. Points are valid only for use within the Program and only while the Program remains available to you and to the extent permitted by these Rewards Terms. Points accumulated are valid for one (1) year from the date on which they are accumulated. If they are not redeemed for a reward within that period, they will expire and will be forfeited. If the Points are expired, cancelled, reversed, or forfeited, they cannot be reinstated. We may adjust, reverse, or cancel Points accumulated in error, in excess, or in breach of these Rewards Terms. You can view your current Points balance and your transaction history by tapping the Points balance shown at the top-right of the Program page.

  9. Moj Points and rewards under the Program require no payment of cash and are in the nature of a promotional activity, provided on a gratuitous basis. Moj Points do not have any cash value, cannot be gifted or sold, and are not withdrawable, exchangeable, convertible or transferable into legal tender, real money, or any other monetary equivalent, and will not create any monetary claim against us. Moj Points and the rewards redeemed cannot be gifted, sold, assigned, or transferred to any other user, account, or person.

  10. Please note access granted to any content under the reward is temporary, is limited to the extent granted, and is subject to the applicable terms, policies, and content availability of that service. Nothing in the Program grants you continued access, subscription, entitlement, or ownership in respect of such content or service beyond the specific reward that is redeemed under the Program.

  11. Participation in the Program or receipt of Moj Points does not give you the right to: (a) make any derivative use of the service provided by us; (b) copy, modify, distribute, or exploit in any manner the technology underlying the Platform or any files or software forming part of the Platform; (c) download, copy, or otherwise use account information for the benefit of any third party; or (d) use any data mining tools, robots, emulators, automation, or similar data gathering, extraction, or manipulation mechanisms to accumulate, inflate, or redeem Points or Rewards.

  12. You may not engage in any cheating, fraudulent, colluding, or otherwise unfair practice in relation to the Program. If we identify, or reasonably suspect, any person of engaging in such practices, we reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or void any Moj Points and/or rewards granted or to be granted to the user, and to suspend or terminate their account on the Platform.

  13. We have the right to cancel, suspend, reverse, or void any Points or rewards provided under the Program, and to suspend or terminate your right to participate, if we believe that you are not in compliance with our Platform policies, these Rewards Terms, or applicable laws.

General Terms#

  1. We reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions including the Rewards Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Program constitutes acceptance of the terms. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify, suspend, discontinue, or withdraw the Program, or any part of it (including specific tasks, benefits, or eligibility criteria), at any time, with or without prior notice.

  2. The Program constitutes a promotional activity and is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, representations, or conditions regarding the availability, accuracy, or error-free nature of the system, Program, Moj Points or any rewards provided under the Program.

  3. We accept no responsibility for any task, claim, or redemption not successfully completed or recorded due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, or failure of computer hardware, software, network, or servers of any kind.

  4. We reserve the right to refuse to award any Moj Points or rewards granted to a user in breach of these Rewards Terms or our other applicable platform policies. We also have the right to void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Program where we consider it necessary, including by suspending or cancelling user accounts on the Platform.

  5. Our decisions regarding the grant, denial, suspension, or cancellation of Moj Points or rewards under the Program, and any related actions, will be final.
